Unexpected Law School Stands Among Members Of T14 For Best Bar Exam Pass Rates

Lumen Mulligan, a professor at the University of Kansas School of Law, commenting on the school’s 95.92% bar pass rate in 2021, which was the 11th-highest first-time pass rate of all ABA-accredited law schools. Ten of the top 15 law schools with the highest first-time bar pass rates are members of the T14 (Harvard 99.4%; NYU 98.7%; Yale 98.14%, Chicago 97.75%; Duke Law School 97.21%; Michigan 97.18%; Stanford 97.08%; Columbia 96.52%; Penn 96.46%; Northwestern 95.05%). Mulligan credits the school’s revamped bar exam preparation programming for recent graduates’ performance.
