Mitch Nussbaum, vice chair of Loeb & Loeb and co-chair of the firm’s capital markets and corporate department, commenting in an interview with Bloomberg Law on the slowdown in IPO work that’s led to Biglaw’s hiring of capital markets associates and partners tapering off or even stopping altogether. “We’ve been here before and we’ll be here again,” Craig Marcus, co-chair of Ropes & Gray’s capital markets practice, said of the IPO downturn. “It’s the end of the cycle.”
