— Bill Barr, who served as Donald Trump’s attorney general, in comments given to Martha MacCallum of Fox News in response to her questions on Todd Blanche, the former Cadwalader partner who left the Biglaw firm to join Donald Trump’s criminal defense team. MacCallum wondered why Blanche would say that the representation was “the best thing for [him] to do and an opportunity [he] should not pass up,” later wondering if Barr thought Blanche would “be sorry.” Barr cracked up at his own response.
