Ty Cobb
, the former Hogan Lovells partner who left Biglaw to work in Trump’s White House before yeeting out of that job, is back. He’s on the cable news circuit bringing his unique perspective on all the legaltroubles of the 45th president.
On the agenda during Cobb’s latest appearance on CNN with Brianna Keilar was the Georgia indictment. That particular indictment is notable not only for a plethora of co-defendants but also the mugshots. The glorious mugshots.
Donald Trump reportedly practiced the look for his mugshot, wanting to look “defiant.” Better to have folks focused on his Zoolander-esque stare than the… questionable self-reported height and weight stats.
Keeping Law School Accessible When Federal Loans Fall Short
As federal borrowing caps tighten financing options for law students, one organization is stepping in to negotiate the terms they can't secure alone.

But Cobb’s take on the Trump glare is that it’s a bit of joke.
“This is the first time that a former president and his colleagues have been charged with a heinous crime like this, this is the first presidential former presidential mugshot, you know we’ve ever seen. And while he looks like a Batman villain in his mugshot, he’s still entitled to all the rights and privileges of a criminal defendant.”
