There Are Ambulance Chasers, And Then There's This

Ever see a speeding ambulance and immediately think about The Dukes of Hazzard? Well, congratulations, that’s all you’re gonna see from now on. This goes double if you’re in Illinois. From the ABA Journal:

Among the attorneys disciplined by the Illinois Supreme Court on Wednesday are a lawyer who led police on a 60-mile chase in an ambulance….

Lawyer Benjamin Kesler Herrington, described as a Chicago man in news coverage, was sentenced to 180 days in jail for the April 2022 ambulance incident after pleading guilty to a charge of criminal trespass to a vehicle[.]

What happened to lawyers having cookouts or mobbing comedy clubs to get their kicks? Ambulances cost too much as it is, please don’t bump the price up even more by making hospitals get insurance for lawyers on the loose.
