Corporate legal departments saw ever-increasing workloads in the past year, but their leaders are hopeful that some help is on the way.
That’s according to the 2024 Chief Legal Officer Strategy Survey from Deloitte, which looks into the work and priorities of in-house legal teams.
Of the 460 legal executives surveyed, 82% report an increasing workload in the past 12 months, while 80% expect their budget to increase in the coming fiscal year.
