— Conservative strategist Steve Bannon, in comments given during a recent appearance on Real America’s Voice’s War Room, where he said that the Trump administration sought to punish Biglaw firms, including Covington Burling and Perkins Coie, in order to “cut them off.” Trump later issued another executive order against Paul Weiss, and has since targeted 20 additional leading law firms over their DEI policies.
