— Mark Pomerantz, a former partner at Paul Weiss, in a statement given to Reuters in the wake of Paul Weiss chairman Brad Karp’s acknowledgement of Pomerantz’s “wrongdoing” while he worked in the Manhattan district attorney’s office investigating Trump’s hush money payments to an adult film star. Karp reportedly made this acknowledgement as part of a deal to get Trump to withdraw his executive order targeting the firm, and Paul Weiss has not stepped forward to correct the White House concerning the matter.
