— an excerpt from Cushman & Wakefield Legal Sector Advisory Group’s Legal Sector Q2 Leasing Trends report, which revealed that law firm leasing activity saw the “strongest start to a year on record” after reaching 10 million square feet during the first half of 2025. David Smith, head of Americas insights at Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Think Tank, went on to say that “[t]he momentum continues for law firms,” with firms being “very office-centric” thanks to new attendance mandates that place lawyers in the office three-to-four days each week.
