You’ve got a crazy story, we just know it.
After I took to the skies last week in a helicopter commute to JFK, it got me thinking about the wackiest business travel stories I’ve heard over the years. There was the partner and associate who routed their return through Vegas and gave themselves a 10-hour layover to hit the strip — and won $5000 each. There was the drive to Topeka where the rental car blew out a tire and no one knew what to do. Or the scores of “so I was in the Delta lounge when [insert celebrity here] came in and got drunk with us” tales. Or the time you took the train and let your layoffs slip.
So we here at ATL want to hear your wildest, craziest story of traveling for work. It doesn’t even have to be a long-distance trip either. Anything involving transit counts in this contest, so your misadventures with the subway count. And you’re welcome to use someone else’s story… if we hear the same saga twice, the “winner” will be the one who told it best in our estimation.
