ATL Holiday Card Contest: The Finalists!
Here are the finalists for our fourth annual holiday card contest. Please vote for your favorite!
5. Michel & Associates, P.C.: This small, 16-lawyer firm is a newcomer to the competition, but oh what an entry they’ve got — it made us laugh out loud. Their holiday card isn’t animated, but it’s hilarious and serves up a deposition of a rather Republican Santa who likens Christmas to a government entitlement program and smokes mistletoe with all of his reindeer boys. 6. Sedgwick: Another year, another fine effort from Sedgwick. The firm was a finalist in last year’s competition, and now they’ve made the cut again. From a firm tipster: “The most compelling thing about our e-holiday card is that we have been able to use a social media platform that we have not seen others employ before in a holiday card.” Here’s to a “Pinteresting” holiday season! Considering how obsessed with social media we are, we think this was a pretty cool idea. You can see their “card” here, and participate by pinning if you’d like.
7. Stinson Morrison Hecker: Once a finalists, always a finalist? Stinson is back again in our selection of top holiday cards, and teamed up with Hallmark, a firm client, to assist. This time, Stinson “decided to wade deeper into the firm’s creative gene pool,” and received the idea for this card from one of its own lawyers. Wouldn’t you like to have a little law gnome finishing up your work at night? Stinson’s card can be seen here.

8. Van Winkle Law Firm: Another newcomer to the competition, this regional law firm came up with a very interesting and creative concept for its holiday card — one that looks like it cost a lot of money to make. A Van Winkle representative reports that this stop-motion video took 13 hours to film, and the feedback has been “tremendous.” You can click here to see what all of the positive buzz is about.
So there you have them: the eight cards that are, in our (admittedly subjective) opinion, this year’s finest law firm holiday cards. Congratulations to the clever and creative people who crafted these delightful works. Who says law firms don’t have humor or style?
