Work Dries Up At Quinn Emanuel, And Its Leader's Solution Is For Attorneys To 'Do Some Fun Stuff'
Don't worry, be happy -- and most importantly, be thankful that your firm's leader is this awesome, because there are few like him in the business of Biglaw.

You may have noticed that in the last few weeks the firm has not been as busy as it usually is. Some significant cases, which kept dozens of lawyers busy almost full-time, have resolved at the same time. When significant cases like these go away it’s usually not possible to redeploy everyone overnight. So, in the short-run, things will likely not be as busy as they usually are.
Early Adopters Of Legal AI Gaining Competitive Edge In Marketplace
Enjoy it while it lasts. We have learned over the last 29 years that our “all litigation all the time” platform is very powerful in terms of our message to the business and legal community, our ability to attract work and deliver great results for clients and our internal cohesiveness. Every year has been a record year for several years running–and that was true of 2014 too.
In the meantime, do some fun stuff. Sign up for the Quinn Emanuel Exchange. Or the Quinn Emanuel Global Experience. Train for the hike. Or just take an afternoon off and go see one of these exhibitions (a personal choice of what I would go see if I had the time):
