Caption Contest Winner: If These Walls Could Talk... About SCOTUS Justices

Find out who chose to decorate his home with wall art featuring the "hotttttest" SCOTUS justices of all time.

Last week, we asked readers to submit possible captions for this picture:

You voted on the finalists, and now it’s time to announce the winner of our contest.

As is customary with our caption contests, we’ll now reveal the backstory behind the picture. This photo was taken inside the D.C. apartment of a law professor who clerked for the Court. The law prof commissioned portraits of Scalia and Ginsburg from a painter he knows: “I picked them because they are the hotttttest Justices on the Court (e.g., The Originalist, the Scalia/Ginsburg opera, two biographies already of Scalia, all the Notorious RBG garb). But I may do all nine eventually.” SCOTUS justices: so HOTTTTT right now.

Without further ado, here’s the winner of our latest caption contest:

Nothing like Scalia’s disapproving glare to get your date in the mood for a little jiggery-pokery.

Thanks to everyone for suggesting comments and for voting. If you wrote the winning caption, feel free to email us to claim your prize (an Above the Law t-shirt).
