Prosecutor Carries Gun In Pocket, Accidentally Shoots Up Restaurant

Consider this a Second Amendment oopsie.

— Madison County Prosecutor Rodney Cummings of Anderson, Indiana, in remarks made after he accidentally shot a hole into the floor of a local Texas Roadhouse restaurant. Cummings believes the 9 mm gun’s safety disengaged when he placed it in his pocket. “I will not in the future have a round in the chamber,” Cummings said. “It’s just not worth the risk.”
