Lawyer Forgets How To Chew, Chokes, Sues Fast Food Chain For Failing To Provide Knife

This is absurd.

Fried-Chicken-LegIf you choke on your chicken and you have to get the chicken removed from your throat, it’s not because Popeyes didn’t apply a knife to the box. Maybe you should slow down eating. Nobody eats chicken with utensils.

Tory Stokes, a former employee of Popeyes chicken, offering comment on a recent suit filed, and quickly dropped, by Mississippi lawyer Paul Newton Jr. Newton claimed that he choked on a piece of Popeyes chicken because he didn’t receive a knife with his drive-through order, and was forced to “hold a chicken breast in his hands and to tear off pieces thereof with his teeth.” Newton dropped his suit due to the “extreme comments directed to [him] and my family.”
