Lawyerly Lairs: Hipsters in the Catskills

We're trying to diversify the coverage here at Lawyerly Lairs. After all, the world does not consist entirely of Park Avenue apartments owned by mega-rich law firm partners. Toward that end, we recently wrote about the housing search of some NYU Law students. Let's leave Manhattan behind and head to upstate New York, where we'll visit the beautiful Catskills house of a law professor and his filmmaker wife....

Behold the parlor, which looks straight out of a Wes Anderson film (not that there’s anything wrong with that; remember, they’re hipsters). The room boasts great light and super-cute vintage wallpaper:

And check out the living room, which is generously sized, even if not as quirky and fun as the parlor:

In the view of the living room that appears below, you can see the door that opens out to the welcoming bluestone patio (which we’ll get to later; please be patient):
