Lawyerly Lairs: A Disgraced Dean’s Abandoned Abode

This mansion has lots of charm. Just be sure its former occupant doesn't feng your shui.

On the whole, however, it’s a lovely property. It’s amazing how much house you can get for under $600,000 in Cleveland.

According to the Observer, Lawrence Mitchell is returning to teaching at Case Western in fall 2015. That could be a bit, well, awkward — one of our Case Western sources refers to him as “Dean Creepy” — but I have to say that part of me admires the ex-dean’s resilience. He’s been knocked around a lot over the past two years, but he keeps on getting up.

Say what you will about this disgraced dean, but at the end of the day, it’s all just words words words. To quote Mitchell himself, “Sticks and stones….”
