New York lawyers are known for starting their day on the later side, strolling in at 10:15 a.m. is nothing out of the ordinary. Well, when Willkie Farr & Gallagher associates began their day today, they pretty quickly received a pleasant surprise.
Yup, at 10:19 a.m. this morning, Willkie became the latest firm to jump on the Cravath scale. And it isn’t just the New York associates getting the good news, folks in the D.C. and Houston offices (which are all of Willkie’s U.S. offices) are getting raises too.
UPDATE (10:58 a.m.): Tipsters note that the summer associates got their share of the love too.
