Has the Republican National Convention got you down? Maybe it was Chris Christie’s reenactment of the Salem witch trials, or Ted Cruz’s “principled” refusal to endorse Donald Trump that played out like a bad night at the WWE, or the hot potato of who’s to blame for Melania Trump’s plagiarism, all of which pointedly ignores the history of white people standing on the backs of black women — but there has been a lot going on to cause despair.
But oh, joy, Kate McKinnon, Saturday Night Live workhorse and breakout star of the new Ghostbusters movie, has busted out her notorious RBG impression — and it is enough to make even the most hardened amongst us smile. Take a look at the best lines from the all-too-short bit:

If my mind is shot, then Donald Trump’s is shot, stabbed, strangled put in a vat of wet cement and put in the Gowanus Canal. His mind is sleeping with the fishes, but it is waking up to a Ginsburn.
Cwis Cwistie? On the Supreme Court? I’d rather have an empty chair than a broken chair. Another Ginsburn!
You can watch the full clip below, and it is guaranteed to bring a smile to your world weary face. Enjoy!
