President-elect Donald Trump continues to play the media — both mainstream and social — like a harp from hell. You’d think that after being used by a charlatan for a year and a half, they would have learned their lesson. But no. Trump continues to wag the dog.
Trump settled his Trump University lawsuit… the one he’s been claiming he would fight and win if a Mexican Indianan judge would just be fair. Trump agreed to pay $25 million dollars to settle claims that his “university” defrauded students.

The president-elect just settled a giant fraud case. FRAUD. OF STUDENTS. No president has ever come into the White House having had to pay money because one of his businesses was a sham. Trump is set up to lead the most corrupt administration ever in American history… BUT LET’S TALK ABOUT SOME TWEETS ABOUT BROADWAY.
And Eric Schneiderman, wherever you are, screw you too. Why settle this case? Why let him off without an admission of wrongdoing? Why give this man exactly what he wants for the cool price of $25 million dollars? Trump can start a GoFundMe and get his racist supporters to cover the settlement.
I know it would be hard to continue to pursue this litigation against a sitting president. Maybe impossible. I know $25 million is a good price from the perspective of the state.
But here was a chance to continue to harass the enemy, and you let him off because it was the easy and normal thing to do. You didn’t want to look bad by fighting and potentially losing against the chief executive. You took the easy way out.
This is how Trump gets normalized: People in a position to fight and lose will chose not to fight and score a minor victory instead. You can already see the Sanders wing of the party getting ready to sell women and minorities down the river for the sake of white working class infrastructure jobs. Everybody is afraid of looking bad, except Trump.
And the media will be along for the ride, telling you exactly what Trump wants you to hear. And Trumpkins and candy-ass Democrats will reward them with clicks.
Well, not me. I’m not going to buy what Twitter Hitler is selling. I don’t give a good goddamn if you read this or not. Trump paid $25 million to settle his fraud case. At least there was a penalty for conning students; Trump has conned the media and he’s going to completely get away with that.
