GREENBERG GROSS — 2016 ASSOCIATE BONUSES
All:
As we approach the end of another tremendously successful year for the firm and its clients, I would like to fill everyone in on some recent developments. First, I am delighted to report that the firm has officially entered into a lease for the 30th floor of the acclaimed Figueroa at Wilshire Building in downtown Los Angeles, and will be opening a new headquarters there. As many of you know, that office will be at 601 South Figueroa Street, on the main floor that was recently vacated by Aluyah’s old firm, Milbank Tweed. We are immediately commencing a major renovation project there that will include a state of the art conference center and a beautiful mock courtroom. Until the renovations are complete, the firm will open a temporary office on the 31st floor. Our experienced and dedicated team is already hard at work to have the temporary office set up with staff, technology, furniture, and equipment, and it should be fully up and running shortly after January 1.

Paying for Law School in 2025: A Straight-Talk Playbook
Juno has consistently secured the best private loan deals for students at the Top MBA programs since 2018—now they’re bringing that same offer to law students, at no cost. We are also continuing to grow in Orange County. We have already started construction of another expansion to the firm’s Costa Mesa office. The expansion will include OC’s own beautiful mock courtroom as well as an additional conference room and seven new offices. The construction in OC is on schedule to be completed in February. When completed, the firm will occupy more than 20,000 square feet on the 17th floor of the Center Tower.
Finally, as we move into the holiday season, I am excited to announce that the firm will gratefully acknowledge the dedication of its superb associates with a top-of-market bonus structure. In addition to the mid-year bonuses that associates received in April, associates in good standing will receive year-end bonuses that exceed the scale established last week by Cravath, Swaine & Moore, and other major law firms.
As you may have read, bonuses for Cravath associates will range from $15,000 for first year associates to $100,000 for the Class of 2009. Greenberg Gross associates in good standing will receive at least $5,000 more than the amount they would receive at Cravath. Associates who have performed above and beyond our high expectations will receive even more than that. Associates who joined the firm during 2016 will receive pro-rated bonuses. The associate bonuses will be paid on December 23.
Congratulations to all on a job well done!
