Earlier this week, we reported on an NFL player trying to run away from the law in order to continue playing football. Now, we’ve got news on an NFL player who is running into the arms of the law to work in an unpaid internship during his summer break.
Which player could it be?

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix of the Green Bay Packers recently started an internship with Judge Don Zuidmulder of the Brown County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. According to Jason Wilde of the Wisconsin State Journal, Clinton-Dix began the internship on June 2, and must log 180 hours in order to earn six credits for his criminal justice degree from the University of Alabama. Here’s more:
“As far as I’m concerned, he’s Ha’Sean Clinton-Dix. He’s Mr. Clinton-Dix. (And) he’ll have a dress code,” Zuidmulder said of his new job-shadower, who is entering his fourth NFL season and has emerged as one of the team’s more vocal leaders. …
“I’ve regularly had judicial interns, people that are first-year, second-year law students, but this is sort of an unusual request,” Zuidmulder said. “But he’s a family friend, so I’m glad to help.”
Best of luck to Ha Ha Clinton-Dix during his state court summer internship. Who knows, maybe he’ll wind up getting bitten by the law school bug. He’s certainly gotten enough concussions to think it’s a good idea.
