California State Bar Politely Declines To Issue Decision On Bar Exam Cut Score

Will we EVER find out if there's a new cut score for this test?

This is policy above our pay grade, I would suggest. This is something for the court to resolve.

Elizabeth Rindskopf Parker, outgoing executive director of the State Bar of California, commenting on the controversy over a possible new cut score for the California bar exam to the state’s high court. The Bar offered three solutions: leaving the cut score as is at 144, lowering the cut score to 141, or lowering the cut score even further to 139. Recall that in early July, the California Supreme Court stripped the Committee of Bar Examiners of its authority to decide the minimum score needed to pass the exam.
