As alleged, Richard Luthmann crossed the line from attorney to violent criminal and fraudster.

— Acting U.S. Attorney Bridget Rohde on the indictment of Richard Luthmann, the Staten Island lawyer who previously sought trial by combat and, as the video below demonstrates, he had the toy weapons to back it up. This indictment though goes far afield of the light-hearted shenanigans we’re used to, alleging a fraud and co-defendants holding people at gunpoint.
