Burger King Explains Net Neutrality Better Than A Million Tech Journal Articles

Burger King is doing a better job explaining the law than the lawyers.

If you were wondering what company would emerge as the most articulate, passionate defender of Net Neutrality, you might have expected Netflix or Google, but it turns out Burger King has its act together way better than any Silicon Valley startup.

When FCC Chair Ajit Pai — who masterfully walks that line between cynicism and rank incompetence — tried to seize the narrative on Net Neutrality with a goofy video that he hoped would distort the facts enough to quell public outrage, it was hard to fault his strategy. Net Neutrality is a concept many Americans don’t comprehend and a short, easily accessible video could give him the leg up in swaying setting the terms of the debate.

Enter Burger King, who decided the public deserved a more honest explanation of Net Neutrality and set up this hidden camera experiment:

Welcome to 2018, where your burger joint is doing a better job of protecting the rights of American citizens than the government.
