Scrunchies are back, and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is leading the revolution.

In addition to the beloved justice’s penchant for decorative jabots and gloves, she loves scrunchies; in fact, in 1993, Justice Ginsburg wore a scrunchie when she accepted her Supreme Court nomination. The Notorious One has been wearing them in her hair since the day she took the bench. “I have been wearing scrunchies for years,” Justice Ginsburg said during an interview with the Wall Street Journal about the hair accessories. Vogue even has a slideshow of Justice Ginsburg’s most powerful scrunchie looks.

As a scrunchie connoisseur and world traveler, Justice Ginsburg has the details on where one can buy the best scrunchies on Earth. “My best scrunchies come from Zurich. Next best, London, and third best, Rome,” she said.

Luckily, Justice Ginsburg has a vast array of chic scrunchies that she can wear for all occasions, from her workout routines to when she’s taking wine naps during presidential addresses. “My scrunchie collection is not as large as my collar and glove collections, but scrunchies are catching up,” Justice Ginsburg mused.

If you’re a true fan of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and you’re already armed with an RBG-inspired manicure, perhaps you ought to add an RBG-style scrunchie to your wardrobe. She’d obviously concur with your style choice.
