Porn Star Stormy Daniels Files New Defamation Suit Against President Donald Trump

[W]e filed this lawsuit against Mr. Trump for his recent irresponsible and defamatory statements about my client Stormy Daniels. He is well aware of what transpired and his complicity. We fully intend on bringing it to light.

— Attorney Michael Avenatti, in a tweet about the defamation suit that he just filed on behalf of his client, Stormy Daniels (aka Stephanie Clifford), against President Donald Trump, which alleges that Trump’s commentary on the sketch of the unidentified man who menaced Daniels, “falsely attacks the veracity of Ms. Clifford’s account of the threatening incident that took place in 2011.” Trump referred to man as “nonexistent,” and called the police sketch “a total con job.”
