It can be downright shitty to be a woman in the workplace. The #metoo movement has brought light to some of the common harassing situations women can find themselves in, but knowing how to handle it when you’re in the thick of it is still a challenge.
In the latest episode of The Jabot podcast I talk with Jennifer Koza. Jenny is a social worker with experience as a Research and Evaluation Analyst at Safe Horizon and writer for One Love Foundation and Fairygodboss, and she has great advice for women who find themselves in terrible situations. When you’re dealing with harassment at work, no choice seems like a “good” one, but Jenny offers tips and advice on how to figure out what’s best for you.
This is the third episode of The Jabot podcast, which is an offshoot of the Above the Law brand focused on the challenges women, people of color, LGBTQIA, and other diverse populations face in the legal industry. Our name comes from none other than the Notorious Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the jabot (decorative collar) she wears when delivering dissents from the bench. It’s a reminder that even when we aren’t winning, we’re still a powerful force to be reckoned with.
