Fine Associates:
As you all know, Warren Lex LLP is committed to matching the prevailing salary rate for top-tier BigLaw firms. Our reasons are pretty simple: we seek to hire top-tier people and expect them to do top-tier work, so we should pay a top-tier salary.
As I know you all also know—and don’t you dare pretend otherwise—the top-tier BigLaw firms have recently bumped salaries, effective July 1, 2018. Here’s the first coverage:
AI Is Reshaping Legal Practice—But Tools Aren’t The Real Differentiator.
Explore the mindset, cultural shifts, and training strategies that define the AI‑savvy lawyer, revealing why human judgment, standardized competence, and integrated learning—not technology alone—will shape the future of the profession.

In keeping with our commitment, we will match this increase and effective date. This match applies to all associates in all offices. (Okay, all the associates are in San Francisco! But if you weren’t, the match would still apply.) As a result, your paychecks this month will increase to reflect your new salary for the second half of the year.

AI Built for Litigation. Verified by Design.
Grounded in authoritative content and verified at every step, Protégé is the only legal AI tool that delivers work you can trust—without exception.
Although that list includes many firms who didn’t match the full increase across all years, which makes them not quite our peers.
We know your job is very hard, and we appreciate very much your work. We try to show it in ways other than money, but money is nice too, and we are happy to show our appreciation through that route among others.
I can’t imagine what questions you might have about this, but if you do have any, you know how to reach me. Thank you again. Now get back to work.
