When you visit a law school, you expect to be wooed by admissions officers and wowed by your student tour guide. What you most certainly do not expect is to be sexually assaulted during your visit.
Last week, a woman who was visiting Gonzaga Law was groped and kissed by an unknown assailant at about 11:15 a.m. as she walked through the law school building. The Gonzaga Bulletin has additional information on what happened:
The man lured the woman toward him and said he needed a hug. Then, he assaulted her.
The woman pushed the man away and told the suspect that his behavior was inappropriate.
The suspect is not affiliated with GU and was described by the victim to be 5’4, stocky build, with blue eyes, a black baseball cap, black jacket, blue jeans and tattoos on his neck, the email said.
The man fled the building before CSPS was contacted.
