Students Disturbed By Yale's Silence On Sexual Assault Accusations Against Judge Brett Kavanaugh

Law school dean encouraged to speak out against former student, a would-be SCOTUS justice.

I don’t think we want to be known as the school that produced both the sexual harasser and the sexual assaulter on the Supreme Court. It cheapens the value of a Yale education to have Yale associated with people who have been credibly accused of these types of actions.

Allen Davis, a graduate student in the Astronomy Department at Yale, in an email sent to Yale Law School Dean Heather Gerken, where he urged her to rescind her “endorsement” of Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh in the wake of Christine Blasey Ford’s sexual assault allegations, and instead speak out against him for besmirching the school’s good name.
