Law School Graduates Are Really Nervous About Failing The February 2019 Bar Exam

Today is February 19, 2019. Law school graduates across the country now find themselves one week away from one of the most important tests of their lives: the bar exam. This one test will determine whether or not they’ll be able to find success in the job market and whether or not they’ll become practicing lawyers.

Keeping in mind that many of the law school graduates sitting for the February exam are retakers and that pass rates for the February exam are generally lower, it’s an especially intense time. Following wave after wave of record-setting failure rates on bar exams nationwide and a national mean MBE scaled score that crashed to a 34-year low for the July 2018 bar exam, whether they’re first-time or repeat takers, many of them are incredibly nervous about how they’ll perform on the February 2019 exam.
