Terrible news from Massachusetts. Authorities have confirmed the deaths of Hoffman Warnick associate Justine Wilber along with her 7-year-old twins and 3-year-old child. According to Berkshire District Attorney Andrea Harrington, authorities are investigating a fatal fire incident at the home Wilber shared with her husband and children as a murder-suicide, with preliminary evidence pointing to Wilber’s husband, patent investigator Luke Karpinski, as the perpetrator.
“We are investigating this matter as a murder-suicide. At this time, the evidence indicates that Luke Karpinski was the assailant,” Harrington said.
Harrington noted that Wilber’s body was found on the first floor of the home, separate from the rest of the family that was discovered on the second floor. As reported by Mass Online, there are no additional details about the deaths since the investigation is ongoing:

Harrington declined to explain the circumstances of the fire and other details of the murder-suicide because the investigation is continuing. She also declined to say what weapons, if any, were found in the home.
“This is a comprehensive and ongoing investigation,” she said. “Members of the State Police assigned to the Office of the State Fire Marshal and detectives from the State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office are still combing through the scene and searching for evidence.”
