Former Prosecutors Pretty Confident We've Got More Trump Indictments Coming

Over the weekend, VICE News sat down with a couple of former prosecutors from the SDNY to discuss the role of the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Southern District of New York in the ongoing probe of Trumpworld. And, because it’s VICE, they kind of “hipster awkward” did it by buying them Chinese food and wine — which they then don’t eat or drink because it’s totally weird to do an interview while slurping noodles.

But dinner setting aside, the piece provides a great explainer about how the investigations into Trump would work and make some predictions. Jaimie Nawaday and Kan Nawaday, now with Kelley Drye and Venable respectively, break it all down from explaining Michael Cohen’s motivation in testifying to Congress to what to make of the DOJ guidance that says it can’t indict a sitting president. And, yeah, they expect more indictments.

It’s a great video for lawyers, but maybe more importantly if you’ve been looking for an explainer for your uncle who keeps asking you what all of this means, this is a good one.
