Earlier this week, a senior associate at Hogan Lovells was assaulted and robbed near her home in Washington, D.C. According to the police, she was walking around 9:40 p.m. this Tuesday, when an assailant approached her and demanded her purse. Though she gave the attacker her bag, she was repeatedly stabbed and the assailant fled.
As reported by Law.com, the attacker is wanted in connection with other incidents as well:
D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department issued a statement Wednesday indicating that the same assailant suspected in the attack is also sought in connection to two other armed robbery attempts in the same part of the city involving knife attacks: one in March and another last Saturday night.

Hogan Lovells offered the following statement on the incident:
“This is a tragic incident and we hope she recovers quickly,” a Hogan Lovells spokeswoman said. “Our thoughts are with her and her family at this time.”
They also asked the victim’s name be withheld, at the request of the associate.
The police are offering a $10,000 to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the attacker.
