Am Law 100 Firm Latest To Join Bonus Parade

It felt like a quiet day on the bonus front, but no sooner did we acknowledge this out loud than Sheppard Mullin swooped in to keep the bonus news flowing.

The Am Law 54 and Global Law 66 firm informed associates this morning — it’s just now morning on the West Coast, of course — that the firm would be matching the Davis Polk special bonus scale with backloaded bonuses paid in June and November. Payments will be made based on meeting six-month billing requirements, though associates can catch up in November if they’re behind for the first payout.

The hours requirements are 2000 hours annualized, 1850 of which need to be billable.
