Brand New Boutique Joins The Biglaw Salary Standard

Firm established in 2021 brings a full match to the table.

Cohen Ziffer Frenchman & McKenna hasn’t even held its six-month anniversary. But just like a contestant on The Bachelor, the firm is more than ready to commit to its associates, announcing raises this afternoon with a full Biglaw match.

Robin Cohen and her longtime partners Adam Ziffer, Kenneth Frenchman, and Keith McKenna left McKool to start the firm in January with a 12-attorney complement. The insurance recovery and commercial litigation firm has already expanded to 22 lawyers, scored some big wins, and is clearly ready to compete for the best talent out there.

This is one of those times where the salary news is almost as exciting for the partners as it is for the associates. Starting a law firm from scratch is rough, so it’s cause for celebration when a firm in its earliest of days is ready to make this kind of commitment to the team. Congrats.
