Biglaw Firm Makes A Quick Move To The Height Of The Associate Compensation Market, As They're Wont To Do

Another firm has come to play the compensation game.

These Biglaw firms sure know how to move quickly when they want to! Just a few hours after Davis Polk switched up the salary game by coming over the top of Milbank’s raises announced yesterday, we’re getting a slew of firms matching this new and improved compensation scale.

The latest firm to match the Davis Polk scale is none other than Proskauer Rose. This afternoon, the firm announced they too would be paying associates at the top of the market, starting on July 1.

The new associate base compensation scale at the firm is as follows:

Proskauer has, historically, moved pretty quickly when it comes to associate compensation — they were among the first matchers in 2018’s compensation wars. Good to see the firm is keeping up with that tradition.
