These new salaries are fantastic!

Look who decided to come join the raise party. It’s none other than Debevoise & Plimpton, a firm that brought in $1,224,942,000 gross revenue in 2020, placing it at No. 31 on the most recent Am Law 100 ranking. Debevoise knows how important compensation is for attracting and retaining quality talent, so of course the firm was going to raise salaries.

Here’s that the new salary scale looks like at Debevoise, thanks to Davis Polk:

  • 2021: $202,500
  • 2020: $205,000
  • 2019: $215,000
  • 2018: $240,000
  • 2017: $275,000
  • 2016: $305,000
  • 2015: $330,000
  • 2014: $350,000
  • 2013: $365,000
  • 2012+: $375,000

Counsel on the firm’s U.S. scale and in good standing will also receive base salary increases (determined on an individual, case by case basis).
