Litigation Firm Once Again Beats The Market On Bonuses
More opportunities and more money.
Hueston Hennigan doesn’t issue lockstep bonuses, but we’re hearing that the firm has continued its commitment to beating the market when it comes to associate compensation.
From reports we’re receiving at Above the Law, the scale is an “enhanced DPW scale” with additional bumps for any associates who went to trial this year. Which in Hueston Hennigan’s case is a lot, with one tipster noting that “I think we had at least five trials in which associates had meaningful speaking roles, including examining witnesses before juries.”
And all of this is in addition to the June and September mid-year bonuses.

As the firm hands out individualized bonuses, we can’t definitively state how big these are, but from the tipsters we’ve heard from everyone is “excited and pleased with the bonus” and thrilled to be getting “more early trial opportunities, and more money as a reward.”
