How about an early morning memo about their shiny new salaries? That’s exactly what the latest firm to match Milbank’s new salary scale did just a few short hours ago.

Thanks to Milbank, there’s yet again a new prevailing salary scale, and Biglaw firms are racing to increase their own salaries in response to the move. Which firm is the latest to adopt $215,000 as its new starting salary?

That would be Fried Frank, a firm that’s currently ranked at No. 60 on the Am Law 100. The firm took about a week to match the last round of raises, but they’re not joking around this time. Here’s the firm’s new salary scale:

The firm’s salary increases are retroactive to January 1, and associates will see more money in their February 15 paychecks. Congratulations to everyone!

Remember everyone, we depend on your tips to stay on top of this stuff. So when your firm matches, please text us (646-820-8477) or email us (subject line: “[Firm Name] Matches Milbank”). Please include the memo if available. You can take a photo of the memo and send it via text or email if you don’t want to forward the original PDF or Word file.
