Elite Law Firm Makes Its Compensation Move
Associate raises come to the West Coast.
Hueston Hennigan, a California boutique law firm known for its commitment to paying associates handsomely, has raised associate compensation. Yesterday, the firm announced that they’d be matching the new compensation scale announced by Milbank. That makes them the first West Coast-based law firm to match the new salary scale.
So, associates at the firm will receive raises of between $10,000 and $20,000, depending on class year, putting the range of associate salaries at $215,000 to $385,000, which is a pretty penny.
And that’s on top of the market-beating bonuses Hueston Hennigan associates got at the end of 2021. Nice.
