Top 5 Biglaw Firm Matches DPW's Brand New Salary Scale

One by one, Biglaw’s heavy hitters are signing off on the latest Davis Polk compensation grid, which ranges from $215,000 to $396,500. Now, one of the biggest Biglaw firms of all has rubber-stamped the generous new salary scale.
Baker McKenzie, a firm that brought in $2,899,834,000 gross revenue in 2020, making it the No. 4 firm in the latest Am Law 100 ranking, recently announced that it would be matching Davis Polk. If you recall, the firm was an early adopter of the Milbank salary scale that was released last month.

The firm’s salary increases are retroactive to January 1, and associates will see more money in their March 11 paychecks. Congratulations to everyone!
