The Time To Match Cravath Is Here, And This Firm Is Showing Associates The Money

Bigger salaries for associates are here, and boutique law firms are using this time to shine. One after the other, boutique firms have been matching (and sometimes exceeding) the prevailing market standard since Milbank made its announcement back in January. Today, we’ve got another boutique that has generously matched the recently announced Cravath scale.
Tensegrity Law Group, a notable IP litigation boutique, continually impresses with its compensation — we’re talking market-busting bonuses on an annual basis — and now they’ve adopted the market’s leading salary scale. Here’s what that looks like like at the firm:
As noted in the memo announcing their raises, Tensegrity will “continue our practice of providing for 100% of your healthcare premiums and contributing to your 401(k) accounts.” Sources say the 401(k) contribution is 3%, fully vested. Sounds like a wonderful place to work.
