Kanye West Gets Fired By His 4th Lawyer In Kim Kardashian Divorce Case

They had 'irreconcilable' differences. Hmm, sounds familiar....

Now that she’s passed the California baby bar exam, not-quite-yet a lawyer Kim Kardashian seems to be thriving. Although her divorce case against Ye (formally known as Kanye West) is still pending, she was declared legally single in March. The reality star turned law student is currently dating comedian Pete Davidson as she continues her journey to become an attorney. She’s been represented by Laura Wasser, who’s handled quite a few high-profile celebrity divorces, since filing suit last February.

And how is Ye doing? The rapper just got dumped by his attorney.

According to reports, Hollywood divorce all-star Samantha Spector — Ye’s fourth divorce lawyer thus far — filed a motion to be relieved as counsel in the case just before the Memorial Day holiday weekend, citing an “an irreconcilable breakdown in the attorney-client relationship.” Readers may recall that Ye fired his last lawyer, Chris Melcher, just a day before an important hearing where a judge bifurcated the case.

For more on Ye’s new attorney, we turn to Page Six:

West’s case will be handled by one of his other attorneys, who is an out-of-state attorney from Pennsylvania that does not specialize in divorce.

According to ET, that Pennsylvania lawyer’s name is Deborah Hong, who we believe is a dealmaker at Stradley Ronan, a firm that came in at No. 196 in the most recent NLJ 500 ranking.

We suppose that the music mogul will want a divorce lawyer to represent him here, so we’ll be on the lookout for which member of the bar will soon have the honor of becoming Kanye West’s sixth lawyer.
