A seat on the D.C. Circuit deserves to be filled by a high-calliber and impartial jurist, and thankfully we have that in Judge Pan.

— Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, in comments given on the Senate floor just prior to a 52-42 vote in favor of U.S. District Judge Florence Pan’s elevation to the D.C. Circuit.
