— State Sen. Scott Wiener (D-CA), in a tweet reminding his colleague, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), about how “well-liked” he was during their years spent together at Harvard Law. The lawmakers had been duking it out on X concerning Cruz’s opposition to Third Circuit judicial nominee Adeel Mangi, who would be the first-ever Muslim appellate judge if confirmed. During Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation hearings, Wiener said that during law school, “[e]veryone thought [Cruz] was a major jackass.”
