According to Citi’s six-month dispatch report, compared to the first six months of 2023, demand was up 2.9%, productivity was up 2.1%, and revenue was up 11.4%. After such a strong start and expected rate cuts from the Federal Reserve, Rusanow said she was “feeling even more optimistic” about where the industry is headed.
