Senior Funds Counsel or Partner

Kinney Recruiting is working closely with a boutique corporate law firm in New York, NY, on a search for a counsel- or partner-level funds attorney. The ideal candidate should have at least seven (7) years of large law firm training in a fund formation practice. We are looking for candidates with strong technical training in private fund formation who are excited to work on sophisticated, innovative fund structures across the impact investing, development finance, and private markets ecosystem. A candidate with strong commercial judgment and genuine interest in building a practice within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment would work very well at this firm. A portable book of business is not required nor expected. Admission to the New York bar is required. Compensation is variable based on the individual attorney's experience.
