Fictional Lawyer Madness: Your Favorite Fictional Lawyers of the Past 30 Years

3) Jackie Chiles (Phil Morris; Seinfeld)

v.

6) Kevin Lomax (Keanu Reeves; The Devil’s Advocate)

While not strictly cartoon characters, you can see why these two ended up in this region. Jackie Chiles is essentially a caricature of Johnny Cochran. Well, at least Johnny Cochran as white people see him. And Kevin Lomax was… I mean, did you see Keanu try to act like a lawyer in Devil’s Advocate? It’s easily one of the most hilarious performances of all time. The way his vaguely southern accent fades in and out. The way Al Pacino and Charlize Theron can’t hide the look on their faces when they realize they’re talking to a piece of wood with lips. The epic: “I win, that’s what I do, I WIN” speech.

I’m telling you, I think they used an animatronic Keanu for that movie. And I’m just happy they let an actual black actor play Jackie Chiles instead of getting Don Rickles to do it in blackface.
